Mailing list members are users that have registered for a certain mailing list to receive periodic emails, such as weekly newsletters. In case the mailing list management software that is used to administer the mailing list permits it, you can also add mailing list members manually, but in this case such messages may be accepted as unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Ordinarily, these members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a link in the messages they receive, or you, as the mailing list admin, can manually delete them if they make such a request or in case you reach the decision that some of the mailing list members should not belong to the list anymore. Each member will be able to see only their address in the "To" field of the emails they get, but not the email addresses of the other members of the mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Shared Hosting
The fully featured Majordomo mailing list management software that comes with our Linux shared hosting will give you full command over the members of any mailing list that you create through the Hepsia Control Panel. You will be able to add or delete users by sending an email message to, so you can do this from any place without even needing to log into the hosting Control Panel. If you import a mailing list member manually, they will get a confirmation request that they have to agree to in order to join the list. When they do this, they will receive a message with the list’s principles and options. You will also be able to see a complete list of all your subscribers and to keep track of who is getting your newsletters or any other type of regular email correspondence.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you order a semi-dedicated server from us and you create mailing lists via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section, you will be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without any efforts. We offer one of the most widely used mailing list clients called Majordomo. It will permit you to see all your mailing list subscribers, to add new or to delete existing ones by sending a message to the mailing list’s administrative email address, so you can administer everything without even logging in to your Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, as the mailing list administrator, will be able to accomplish this. New subscribers will have to confirm their subscription, so the emails that you send out will be legitimate and you won’t have to bother about messages getting reported as spam. We also have a handful of how-to articles where you can find more info about how to administer the list itself.
